About the Trip

We began the trips to the US/Mexico border following a change in US policy to separate children and parents of migrants. We are working with the group, ARISE, who has a 30+ year history focusing on empowering women and children that live in the colonies along the border. Learn more at: https://www.arisesotex.org/ 

We focus on health and immigration needs of the community. Faculty and students in Legal Studies, Spanish, and Nursing make the trip though others are welcome. Your gift helps support travel, lodging and other expenses for the group.
