There are 18 days left of the Parent Council's Parent Fund campaign. When this campaign began on April 5 the goal was to raise $3000 to support students. As of today, $4,015 have been raised, all from parents of current Webster students! With the last 18 days, the Parent Council has challenged themselves and all Webster parents to get us to $5,000 by the time the campaign ends on May 21, 2021.
The Parent Fund is awarded to students that meet certain criteria and is done every fall and spring semester. As a fund that is supported only through financial contributions, it is important that the Parent Council continues to find parent donors to keep the Parent Fund viable as a source for student support.
The members of the Parent Council hope that you will donate $10, $50, $100 or whatever level you are comfortable to support Webster students when they need it most.
“We recognize that education is a tremendous commitment in terms of time, capability and means. Everyone hits a roadblock from time to time, and while we can't do anything to help a student overcome a gap in capability or in balancing workload, we CAN help a student overcome a brief financial hardship with our donation to The Parent Fund. We would not want to see a student fail to complete their college journey because of a temporary financial roadblock.”
- Maxine and Dan Retzer, Parent Donors
Please join the Parent Council and give before May 21.
