Supporting International Students at Webster's St. Louis Campuses
During these unprecedented times, many international students at Webster University in St. Louis have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Unlike students from the United States, international students were unable to qualify for CARES Act funding. Many international students have had to extend their visas and pay for unexpected living and travel expenses incurred from COVID-19. Webster University has set up the International Student Fund specifically to aid international students in need who are studying at Webster's St. Louis campuses.
In spring of 2020, Webster’s St. Louis campus boasted 70 undergraduate international students. However, due to the ongoing pandemic only 50 students remain. Giving to the International Student Fund can help students enroll for the spring 2021 semester and ensure they are able to continue their education; whether it be in-person or online.
